AWANA Club is made up of 3 segments each night: Game Time, Handbook Time, and Council Time
The children love this segment more than anything else! They work with their team and play games which teach them to work together and encourage one another.
This is one of the most important segments of AWANA. Your child will receive a booklet with Scripture and other matertial to memorize. Your child brings this handbook each week. Go over the memory work with your child, including scripture references. By saying their memory verse to their leader, they will earn their handbook, uniform, and awards. This segment is crucial for spiritual growth.
During this segment, your child will hear a message from God's Word. Each week, we will also talk about missions, looking at specific areas of world and missionaries who are serving Christ at home or abroad.
If you have any questions, you can call Sherri Boyd, BBC Awana Commander/Children's Ministry Director,

Bible Buddies and Bible Drill
Every Sunday evening beginning September 13th
High School: 4:00 p.m.
Children: 5:00 p.m.
Congratulations to our Broadway Baptist Bible Drillers!
You have been faithful to God's Word-2 Timothy 2:15! We are so proud of you and your hard work! Our Children's Bible Drillers who represented us at the State Drill were Madison Whidden, Josh Dutton, Jocelyn Hayes, and Marvin Aguilera. Our Youth Bible Drillers who represented us at the Regional Drill were Brittany Alexander, Sophie Hayes, and Andrew Dutton. Our High School Bible Drill was represented at the Regional Drill by Alison Dutton who placed as the East Tennessee Regional Runner-Up! We don't want to leave out two who were unable to attend the State/Regional Drill, Tinna Abuhania (Children's) and Zeke Carnes (High School), both represented us well at the Association Drill. We look forward to seeing how God uses each of you! Awards and recognition will be held at a later date.
You correctly handled the Word of Truth! We are so very proud of each of you!
