Introduction to the Book of Ruth

This morning, we begin a study of the Book of Ruth, one of the greatest short stories ever written: a story of God's faithfulness to keep the covenant made to Abraham, a story of love, loyalty, and redemption. However, it is much more than a compelling love story. It demonstrates the providence of God continuing the Messianic line during some of the darkest days of the history of Israel.
