AREAS OF TRAINING
Pastoral Ministry
The Pastoral Ministry track is designed to train Christian men in pastoral theology and ministry to be faithful servants of the gospel and the church (Col 1:23-25)
Education
The Education track is designed to equip followers of Christ in Christian worldview and pedagogy to be faithful educators for the cause of Christ (Col 2:8).
Theology
The Theology track is designed to equip followers of Christ in theology and biblical studies to be faithful stewards of the truth once delivered to the saints (Jude 3).
Discipleship
The Discipleship track is designed to equip followers of Christ in the practice of personal and ministry-based discipleship to be effective ministers of the gospel (Eph 4:12-16).
Communications
The Communications track is designed to equip followers of Christ in the thoughtful application of tools and techniques to magnify gospel proclamation (Col 1:1-6).
TIERS OF TRAINING
Ministry training to fit any stage of life
Internships
One-year, comprehensive discipleship paths involving hands-on service in a specialized ministry track; one-on-one mentoring from the BBC staff; and assigned reading and lectures. Interns should expect to invest up to 6 hours per week to complete the requirements.
Apprenticeships
Semester-long ministry practicums involving a total of 180 hours of specialized ministry training and study. For those that qualify, apprentices also have the option to receive master's level credit hours.
Residencies
Paid positions to serve alongside the BBC staff in the areas of pastoral ministry, discipleship, or communications. While serving a minimum of 15 hours per week, residents will engage in theological and practical studies related to their ministry specialization.
