Our Leadership

Pastor Tony joined the staff in 2009. He has been in pastoral ministry since 1983. He is a graduate of Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA, where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Christian Ministry and Religion, and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY, where he received a Master of Divinity Degree. In the spring of 2012, Pastor Tony was awarded a Doctor of Divinity from the Toronto Baptist Seminary, Toronto, Canada.

He and his wife Janey have been married in 1979 and have been blessed with two sons and four grandchildren. Janey is one of Tony's greatest assets; she greets everyone with a hug and a smile!

Pastor Tony is committed to growing the church through a strong pulpit ministry. He is faithful to proclaim the truth of God's Word, verse by verse through books of the Bible.

"For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek."- Romans 1:16

Chaz Farmer is our Student Minister. He is married to Maggie and holds a Bachelor's degree in Biblical and Theological Studies from Boyce College. He has ministered in several contexts ranging from parachurch ministry to church ministry. He came on staff at BBC at the beginning of 2023.

Steve joined the BBC staff in January 2024.  He brings over 40 years of ministry experience including pastorates in Mississippi, Florida and Tennessee.  Steve received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from The University of North Florida, and a Master of Divinity degree from The New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

Steve and his wife Stella have been married in 1976. They have two daughters, one son, and nine grandchildren.

Dudley joined the BBC staff in 2021. He was blessed to be born into a Christian home to godly parents who led him to the Lord at an early age. Both his father and his maternal grandfather were pastors. A University of Alabama law school and MBA graduate, Dudley practiced law in Memphis before relocating to Philadelphia. Dudley has been married to Julie since 1992 and they have six children and two grandchildren. Dudley and Julie have been active in ministry in a variety of capacities: youth ministry, English as a Second Language, Evangelism Explosion, Child Evangelism Fellowship, short term missions, etc., and Dudley has served as an ordained elder for more than thirty years. They joined Broadway shortly after moving to Blount County and are grateful to the Lord for providing a solid welcoming church home where Christ is exalted, and the gospel is proclaimed. Dudley provides oversight to our adult discipleship ministries.

Job joined the BBC staff in Spring of 2021. He oversees the ministries that serve the children and families of the Broadway Baptist Church community. His passion is to partner with families to disciple children to the glory of God.

Job has been married to Aimee for 20 years and they have 3 children, Micah, Iris and Maya.  He enjoys serving the Kingdom of God, spending time with family, fishing, and sports.  Job graduated from Texas A&M University – Kingsville with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and has his Master of Divinity from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary. In addition, he is also a retired United States Air Force Reserve Chaplain.

Grant Story is a Maryville, TN native and began attending BBC in 2013. He has served as worship leader since September 2016. He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee School of Music where he first began to sense God's call to music ministry.  Grant oversees the worship ministry including adult & children’s choirs, praise team, and orchestra. Grant and his wife Lauren have been married since 2022, and they enjoy spending time with their two puppies.

Craig joined the BBC staff in Fall of 2025. He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and a minor in Secondary Education. Craig and his wife Marcy were married in 1992, and they served in various ministries of Broadway Baptist over the next 19 years. In 2011, Craig, Marcy, and their sons, Caleb and Taylor, moved to Papua New Guinea to serve as missionaries with Ethnos360. For the next 13 years they served in various support ministries roles at the mission support center outside Goroka.
 
In 2024 Craig and Marcy relocated back to the Maryville area. They are thankful to be back in their home church and are excited to be serving again at Broadway.

Jenny Hayes serves as our financial secretary. Jenny and her husband Bryan have three daughters; Sophia, Jocelyn, and Brynna. Bryan also serves as one of our deacons. 

Olivia serves as an intern at our church. She works closely with our youth group, specifically discipling and supporting middle school students. She also serves in an outreach after-school program at a local middle school. In addition, Olivia manages the church’s social media platforms, helping communicate events, share ministry updates, and connect with our church online.
