The True Christian's Growth and Development

This second epistle of Peter sounds a strong warning against the false teachers and false teachings of the day, but before he warns his readers about the false, Peter describes the characteristics of the true Christian.
Note: One characteristic of all living things is growth and development. This is true of Christians as well. Peter is urging his listeners to apply all diligence to those things necessary for their spiritual growth and development.
