The Pure Church Shows Compassion

James reminds us that there is a type of religion that is pure and undefiled, and it is revealed in our response to those that are venerable, weak, and needy. Praise God for the compassion ministries within the local church!
The outline headings this morning come from the Christ-Centered Exposition 1&2 Timothy. It divides this section into two main headings; "As the church, we love one another, for we are family" (5:1-2) and "As the church, we care for those that have no family" (5:3-16). These two headings, will serve to outline our message today.
