Our Spiritual Birth Mark

One of the highest of all Christian virtues is love. John spends a great deal of time reminding us that love is the evidence that we have been born again and are the children of God. Love is perhaps one of the most defined words in 1 John. (Love is used six times in these eight verses, contrasted with hate which is used two times.)
