"Elijah Finishes Well" or "I'll Fly Away"

Few of us know when and how we will face the end of life, yet God had shared with Elijah some of the details of his own exit. The exit of Elijah is as unique as the profit himself. Since the sentence of death was given in the garden, Enoch had been the only one to escape the grip of the death angel; now we learn of a second, Elijah.

Note: Thinking of our own death is not morbid, it is biblical and beneficial. The Puritans reflected often about death and believed such meditation to be an aid for humility.
