The Heart of a Great Woman (Part 2)

Last Sunday, we began a message focused upon the heart of a Shunammite woman. In the first part, we looked at the hospitality and humility of this woman in her provision for the man of God, Elisha. Part one of this message ended with the birth of a son, promised by Elisha.

Some years have now passed, and the child is no longer a baby, but a young boy (exact age is unclear but old enough to accompany his father in the field).

NASB - "when the child was grown"

CEV - "when the boy was still young"

The Hebrew word is also translated "lad" (Remember our discussion of the children mocking Elisha.)
