The Spiritual Super Bowl at Mount Carmel

Last Sunday evening in Santa Clara, California, there was one of the most watched contests of the year - the Super Bowl. Last year it was watched by approximately 127 million people, making it the most watched event in American TV history.

However, the great contest that we are examining takes place on Mount Carmel, between 450 prophets of Baal and 400 prophets of Asherah verses God's prophet, Elijah. Talk about an underdog, outnumbered by the sight of man, but with God, Elijah had the majority!
