The Power of the Tongue

In our text this morning, James returns to a subject that he addressed in the previous chapters, the subject of our speech. James would have us know that “talk is cheap” and “words matter.” Our speech can often reveal what going on in our hearts. Learning to control our tongues is a part of our spiritual development.
