Listen, Jesus is Praying for Us!

Dec 10, 2023    Dr. Tony Collins

One of the most loving things we can do for one another is to pray! When we spend time on our knees on behalf of someone else, we are modeling the Savior!

Jesus was greatly concerned about the disciples He loved and their future. He was sending them out into a cold, Christ hating world. Jesus knew that the way would not be easy. Each of these men gathered in the Upper Room would face incredible opposition and persecution, resulting in their martyrdom, with the possible exception of John.

I am His, and He is mine, and we are one together. Jesus’ prayer on the way to the cross is extremely relational and personal. He is not praying in generalities but with specific relationships on His heart. Two relationships are primary: His relationship with the Father and His relationship with the disciples.
