The Second Sign - A Crisis Yields Saving Faith

John is concluding his account of Jesus’ earthly ministry and his first cycle of travel. When Jesus arrived at Cana of Galilee, news of His activity in Jerusalem had spread, and the people were curious concerning who this man was. We find in this text three responses to Jesus:
1. Verse 44 seems to His own hometown and their rejection of Him.
2. Verse 45 seems to indicate a response of those curiously desiring to see more miracles.
3. Verses 46-54 indicates a true saving faith, a faith that grew and rested upon the Lord’s Word.
